MathPOWER Algebra Plus Summer Academy 2010
The MathPOWER Algebra Plus Summer Academy at Northeastern University is designed to:
-Strengthen your math skills through review and enrichment
-Increase your understanding of science and engineering applications
-Broaden your educational interests through Academy clubs and activities
-Give you the confidence you need to enjoy learning – including math!
-Assist you in preparing to pursue a college Education
Ages
The Academy is open to students entering 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade in Fall 2010.
Location
The Academy is held on the Campus of Northeastern University. MBTA: T Stations are conveniently located on Northeastern’s Campus: Ruggles Station on the Orange line and Northeastern Station on the Green line. A number of buses serve the Ruggles Station.
Date & Times
July 6th - August 6th, 2010
Monday- Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Cost
$625, including a $100 deposit, for the 5 week program.
The fee covers every aspect of the camp including supplies, snacks and travel costs. Students will have to provide a bag lunch unless they qualify for free lunch. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
